Welcome to the Jelly Jazz website
Jelly Jazz, the grand daddy of the funk and jazz scene in the South West of England. Running continuously for 17 years at various venues across the region and beyond, making it one of the country's, if not the world's longest running club nights! Specialising in dancefloor rockin' funk, soul and jazz, spiced up with the best of nu-funk, breaks, beats, Latin, drum & bass and whatever fits the Jelly Jazz vibe. It's genre un-specific, but totally funky!

Interview with Eddie Roberts
(The New Mastersounds)
The New Mastersounds have played for Jelly Jazz more than any other band in our history with numerous sets in Plymouth, plus gigs in Newquay, Oxford and a handful of festivals over the years. We absolutely love them! So it was about time we added a feature on the band to the web site. So check out our latest interview with the main man, Eddie Roberts.

Top Choice Rekkid!
Przaśnik 'Azymicep'
(FMAP 12")
W.O.W. Straight in as one of my favourite tracks of the year, and it's only March! Thoroughly exciting dancefloor music that's hard to pin down yet easy to connect with. This is jazz, this is house, this is Afrocentric, this is brilliant and will be a staple peak time tune at Jelly Jazz for a while to come.
Very Special Wah Wah Party
@ The Jazz Cafe, London
Thursday 25th March, 7pm - 2am
Following the very sad loss of Wah Wah 45s creator to lung cancerin January, there is going to be a very special party at The Jazz Cafe, home to the Wah Wah club night for many years. Featuring a massive line up of bands and DJs from the UK and Europe including The Filthy Six, Dom Servini, London Elektricity, Chris Goss, Talc and Bonobo, mental! All acts are performing for free and all proceeds will go to The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. An unmissable night of amazing music and a wonderful celebration of Simon's considerable contribution to the UKs musical landscape.
Got a demo, pre-release or unsigned masterpiece? If it's good n' funky, soulful or jazzy, then send it to our Soundcloud Dropbox and if good enough (!) we'll spin it on the radio show.
